HOW WE BUILD
Rebar Centers
The bottom of our pool has 5”x10” rebar centers, the tightest in the industry. Selah is one of the few companies in the DFW to offer this.
Rebar Quality
Selah Pools reinforces every pool with a 10” x 10” grid of ½-inch rebar or better known as #4 rebar. Many other companies only offer #3 rebar. We also include a break floor (additional bar) in the deeper sections to achieve a 10” x 5” grid.
SHELL WARRANTY
Pool Shell
We build with extra rebar and thicker floors & walls for lasting strength. We use a 12"x10" box beam and 8"-10" thick Gunite walls with #4 rebar spaced by 5"x10" centers.
Pebble Plaster
Lifetime warranty on our peerless pebble plaster.
Jandy Pool Equipment
We provide a 3-year warranty on all Jandy pool equipment. Jandy variable speed pumps ensure better water circulation and a cleaner pool.
Heater Warranty
5-year warranty on your heater.
CONSTRUCTION
Gunite Mix
Our Gunite formulation utilizes a 6-bag mix when spraying to maximize your pool’s durability and minimize the risk of cracking, resulting in a sturdier shell.
Excavation
We over-dig the pool by 12" to ensure optimal Gunite application, resulting in a durable 9-11 inch thick floor. By comparison, many other companies only over-dig by 9", leaving floors just 6 inches in thickness.
Deep Heat Plumbing
We install a dedicated return line at the bottom of the pool to deliver faster and more consistent heating. In contrast, many other companies rely solely on jet heating to warm the pool. Ultimately leading to uneven temperature distribution.
Service
We offer 1 month of full-service cleaning for the pool by Omega Pools Services.
Travertine Coping
Travertine coping comes standard with our pools. We source premium Turkish and Mexican Travertine to provide a full range of market-leading options when building your luxury custom pool.
